Rockafellas Retro Market Day - 29/11/15

What a blast we had at our last Retro Market day.

Our neighbours, Strummers guitar store, invited us to host another of our Market Days to que up with their Muso Swap Meet. We said yes and what a great day it was.

I’ve never seen our foot path so full.

We are really blessed to have a great network of friends in small business that were happy to come along and share their wares with our customers.

We ran the event from 10am to 4pm and then all relaxed for beer from the Inglewood.

Let me give you a written tour :P

We had some upcycled furniture from ‘The Glory Collection’ gracing our path and front windows as it often does during the week. In our front room Sharleen (from the Glory Collection) was hanging out with Tahlia from ‘T with sugar’ with a collection of pop culture inspired skirts and yummy cupcakes too.

Into our games room and the music boys had taken over. Rob from ‘Audio Anarchy’ had a bunch of restored record players and was taking in repairs as well. Poor Rob can’t walk in this place without taking a repair home :P

Our usual Record supplier Adam from ‘Record Shack’ was there too with a decent collection of goodies. If you were looking for Shaun (my husband) he would almost defiantly be in this room too, in his element.

Step into the next room – our kitchen room and you would find Nikki from ‘Purr Imagination’ (a regular supplier of our shop) with the room full of her amazing clothing and accessories for sale.

But the back room was this hive of activity where everyone went for a chat. We had Ray from ‘Ray of Light’ doing spiritual card reading. Rebecca from ‘Deadly with Scissors’ with a fun and beautiful made selection of Derby inspired clothing and accessories (wanted everything) and Elizabeth from our neighbouring store ‘Mo-Mo’s Boutique’ with a selection of Vintage and pre-loved designer clothing from her store (up the street).

Was a very fun day, we had a visit from the Rockingham Motorcycle show organisers and the owners of Della Photography popped in to say hi too.

Little Billy was like a parse the parcel and everyone got a cuddle.

Hope you enjoyed my very first Blog :D
